James Dickinson is a British taxidermy conservator. He worked for Lancashire Conservation Studios, a department of Lancashire County Council, England. He was responsible for the mounting of the Leeds Irish Elk and Armley Hippo skeletons and the conservation of the Leeds Tiger and the Leeds polar bear at Leeds City Museum, when it was re-opened in the Leeds Mechanics Institute in 2008.
