Hans-Joachim Marseille (* 13 December 1919 in Berlin) was a German fighter pilot of the Second World War. He died in a crash on 30 September 1942 south of Sidi-Abd-el-Rahman, Egypt. Marseille was credited with 158 enemy planes shot down.
