Gerry Anderson, whose real name was Gerald Alexander Abrahams (born 14 April 1929 in London – dead 26 December 2012 in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire), was a British television and film producer from England. He also directed, wrote and occasionally gave his voice to the characters he created. He is remarkably notable for having created famous TV science-fiction series like Thunderbirds, UFO and Space: 1999.
