WonYong to WonRyong

My legal name is chaged. My en: name chang is approved. -- WonYong 06:01, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Could you crosslink from another account where you have this id (from that account, on that wiki, post saying this is you here, perhaps on your user page) and post a diff to it? Thanks. Or give a ref to your WikiMatrix if you have one. (see m:User:Lar/WikiMatrix for an example) --Patrícia msg 10:32, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am en:User:WonRyong. Many language' wikipeida IDs are also changed to WonRyong -- WonYong 12:31, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please confirm that you are Commons WonYong on English Wikipedia user page? --EugeneZelenko 14:59, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I confirm it. WonYong = WonRyong en.wikipedia, ko.wikipedia, commons, meta, etc. -- WonRyong 08:28, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It seems you've created a WonRyong account here. What do you want done with the rename now, since accounts can't be merged? giggy (:O) 05:11, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
To confirm something you need to give a diff from the other wiki saying you are this id here, not just assert it here. This request may be getting stale in any case. ++Lar: t/c 23:29, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I wish to rename myself in because I hold accounts one other wikis w:User:Nikkeric, and wish to have identical usernames on each. Thank you.--Nikkeric2 17:51, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[1]. Please verify. Thanks.--Nikkeric2 00:28, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not done You need to delete your global account at m:SR/SUL first. I usurped Nikkeric out of the way, so once the global account is deleted this can be finished. giggy (:O) 01:53, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

خالد حسنى to خالد حسني

I want to rename my account (fixing a typo) in ordered to merge it with my accounts on other wikis. Thanks in advance. --Khaled Hosny 15:23, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Albam to Albamhandae

I would like to change username. My current name only Commons is Albam. Meta account, English Wiki account. --Albamhandae (talk) 09:02, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Am I missing something here? You are signing this as Albamhandae & are Albamhandae. No rename would be possible as you are who you want to be? --Herby talk thyme 09:05, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In fact, I would like to move my contributions and logs Albam to Albamhandae. --Albamhandae (talk) 10:05, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK - we could have renamed your old account. However as you created a new one which now has contributions we cannot merge the accounts. I do not think it would be possible to get you newer account deleted at Meta as it does have contributions (which would be lost). Sorry --Herby talk thyme 16:03, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Delete newer account request in Meta. --Albamhandae (talk) 08:50, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Herby, I cannot find no new request of Albamhandae, his sul had been deleted some time ago, for both names no sul is activated.
Since he has now some contributions on Albamhandae but more on Albam, I would suggest to rename 'Albamhandae' to something else, 'Albam' to 'Albamhandae' and maybe 'something else' to 'Albam', so the contributions would be just switched and he would have more on 'Albamhandae' and keeping an redirect from Albam without having to recreate that name and saving his contribs there.
Complicated, I hope I could explain what I meant well, best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 00:48, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello :) I would like my account Titoxx69 to be renamed to Hopea, which is the name I use in the french Wikipedia. Thank you :) François Obada (talk) 07:01, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Before we can do this, you need to go to your userpage on another wiki (where you have the desired username), and while logged in, edit that page to say "I am requesting a rename on Commons." (and mention your Commons username while you're there.) Save the page, get a diff, and post it here. If you have one, a wikimatrix (like m:User:Lar/WikiMatrix) also works for this purpose. All this is just to prove that you're who you say you are and make everyone's life easier. Thanks. giggy (:O) 07:10, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

.Aiko → Aiko

My 'home' wiki is nl.wikipedia. I have a global account and am in the process of 'claiming' the account user:Aiko globally [2]. The account user:Aiko was recently deleted here on Commons and I would like to start the renaming process here, and if my request is accepted, will have my global account deleted. See also: [3] ; [4] ; [5]. - .Aiko (talk) 08:45, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like you already created SUL. You need to get your global account deleted at m:SR/SUL before I can rename you. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 15:00, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I tried to avoid that but it was automatically created, I did't use it for editing. I will ask for deletion of my global account. - .Aiko (talk) 10:53, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes... I had no idea that wiki even existed. But it's covered by SUL so :) ++Lar: t/c 20:00, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
