Youth served
At CRCD, we believe that education and workforce development go hand-in-hand. When we talk about workforce development that encompasses the ability to have access to an education and learn valuable skill sets that will, in turn, lead to family sustaining wages.
CRCD Workforce Development for Youth programs provide a unique focus on youth, ages 16-24, who are out of work and out of school and may face challenges that traditional institutions cannot accommodate. Our youth programs offer paid work experience and training, education, and leadership development to successfully transition to meaningful careers pathways, advanced training, or college. Our team provides 1-on-1 support to remove individual barriers to success while providing a family atmosphere and a safe environment.
The Workforce Development for Youth department at CRCD offers an array of programs that ensure youth and young adults are prepared to enter the community as educated, skilled, and ready to thrive. We are here to help young people in South LA with whatever they need to succeed by meeting them where they are.
