Can this Thunderbolt 4 dock work without the charger?
No, You must connect the included 180W GaN charger for the dock to work.
Why is there only one display work when two monitors are connected?
1) Only when the dock station is connected to a Thunderbolt 4/Thunderbolt3 or USB 4 port can it support dual displays.
2) When a M1/M2/M3 Macbook or tablet or a full-function USB-C computer is connected, it only supports a single display.
How many storage devices can I use at the same time?
If you use HDD, It's suggested to use up to 2 simultaneously, If you use SSD, It's suggested to use up to 3 simultaneously. Due to the overload protection mechanism, Using too many storage devices simultaneously may cause product work unstable.
Why won't my Dock-connected keyboard wake up my Macbook when it sleeps?
When the Mac enters into sleep mode for more than two hours, you need to double-click instead of single-clicking any keys on the keyboard to wake it up.
How to deal with a black screen and display flickering when connecting to an external monitor?
1) Please unplug and plug the Thunderbolt ports, and ensure there is an interval of more than 3 seconds.
2) Please try to lower the resolution and refresh rate.
3) Try another DP/Thunderbolt cable.
4) Restart the laptop.

A good dock, but a very expensive one as well

First and foremost is that all the connections are solid and consistent. There are no random drop outs, flickering, or other signs of instability that I've experienced with prior TB docks. There's nothing worse than a TB dock that has random connectivity issues, often at the worst times.
Waking from sleep works consistently, which is huge. I can reliably wake my laptop and monitors via either my mouse or keyboard, both of which are wireless. Out of the hundreds of times doing so there have been just a handful of anomalies where I've had to disconnect and reconnect the laptop, but those have been so infrequent they could've been software based / MacOS issues rather than due to the dock.
The dock itself gets a bit warm but nothing out of the ordinary. I do wish there were more USB and perhaps another DisplayPort available, but the ports themselves are well spaced and any more likely would require a larger sized chassis.
If you want to turn off the dock there is a power button which cuts off data and power to the connected device. I can't imagine a use case for it myself since if I need to "turn off" a dock it's because I need to take my laptop somewhere and I have to unplug the laptop anyways, but hey, it's a nice to have.
The power supply is something I have a bit of a gripe with. It has one of the biggest ferrite bead I've ever seen, and even though you can try, it does hinder cable management a bit. The cable from the PSU to the dock also feels a little bit short. Considering this is a dock that might have to run an entire length of a table for cable management, this feels a bit of a downside. The PSU itself at least seems pretty well built, it's a 180W 21V8.57A unit, UGreen makes decent chargers, and this power supply seems to be good. I didn't observe any coil whine from this dock which is great.
The price is quite steep. At the time of this review it's $320, apparently it does drop occasionally to $304. This brings it to the price range of the OWC Thunderbolt Go dock, which has less IO options but still has 2 Thunderbolt pass-through output like this Revodok, and has an integrated power supply. The intention of an integrated power supply is to make the thing easier to lug around, but it also has the side effect of making cable management easier. I guess considering the robust IO the Revodok does deserve the premium that it demands, but for some people, at this price point, the OWC Thunderbolt Go might be a better options. At the end of the day, yes it's expensive, yes it's very well built, and yes the features are excellent, and the only downside, for me, being the power supply.

Upon putting in and taking out cables at the front, my hands kept accidentally pressing the power button, which is located at the front top. Although it quickly got all the connections back, I wonder if it will be a problem later on during rendering or copying files. I also wished it had an additional audio plug in the back, similar to its competitor, Caldigit. Unfortunately, this will be a return.
