I have had several TV strip lights, but nothing like this or even close to it. I own lots of Govee products, and they are all of the highest quality. This strip light has functions and features that go far beyond any typical colored LED strip light. This light changes your TV viewing experience completely.

The Govee DreamView T1 strip light greatly enhances your TV viewing experience. The strip light can produce just about any color to include warm white. So you have an infinite amount of color, it is SUPER bright, can be dimmed, change the hue, saturation and many more functions. You can set up scene's, have it react to music, and best of all, is the movie and gaming function. The software has an Effects Lab with sooooo many possible settings that you could sit and play with it forever.

Installation is quick and easy. The camera can be installed on top or bottom of the TV. I used a micro fiber cloth and alcohol to clean the surface before adhering the strip light to my TV. The strip light is segmented into four parts. Just peel and stick, but pay attention to the instructions when doing it so that you have the correct starting point. VERY IMPORTANT. Install the Govee App, begin the setup and calibrate the system. It takes about 30 minutes for the complete installation, setup and calibration.

Now to the movie and gaming function. Turn on the lights, set it to "Video" and watch TV. The strip light will change to the corresponding colors on the TV screen, and in real time. It is amazing. Your movie watching experience is so much better and fun. There is a gaming function as well. You get a total immersive experience from your TV and gaming. And all of this from one strip light.

I cannot say enough about it. This is simply a great light that makes TV an awesome experince. You really have to see it in action. We have a 65 inch 4K HDR LED TV, and the intense colors are so much stronger. Watch the video upload to see it in action.

This is one of those products that you just fall in love with. It is a product that gets one of those 5 star ratings and wish you could give it 6. Get one.

Pretty excited to write this review. Originally had some basic led lights for my TV when I came across a FB ad about immersion led lights that move with the picture. I looked everywhere for a product that functioned like that ad, this was the closest I could find that I trusted based off of reviews.
Pros
1st - absolutely love the brightness and vibrant colors of these lights!! Huge update from my previous basic red lights!
2nd - LOVE the visual effect it gives to the TV once its on. Kind of gives off a 3D picture like effect, like it gives the picture depth.
3rd - love the simple physical remote it comes with that's used in conjuction with the installation. Glad i don't have to add another remote to my collection in the living room. If I want to controller it or adjust the functions of the lights in depth I can do it from my phone in the app. Besides that, the mini controller operates basics functions, colors and movement with just 3 buttons.
4th - I love you how it gives you the option to place the camera for the TV interaction either at the top or bottom. I installed mine on the bottom of my floating TV and it's not noticeable at all. Also allow me to keep my wii sensor bar above my TV. Seems to function just as good on the bottom as it would on top without the annoying eye sore of looking at it while watching tv. During set up in the app is when it gives you the option to place it above or below the screen. Besides that, the instructions only indicate on top. I only knew I could put it on the bottom because I watched a product installation review in YouTube.
5th - love the fact you can change the lights to move with the rhythm of music! It has a sensor that picks up surround sounds and you can even adjust the sensitivity of that sensor through the app.
6th - the app itself is pretty friendly to operate. Not too sophisticated or complicated. There alot of functions and features through the app but simple enough to go through it without getting lost.

Cons and not many in my opinion
1st - As far as timing on screen with the colors of the led lights I would give it an 8.5 out of 10. There's a very slight lag when it comes to the colors matching up with the speed of the picture but honestly it does a great job catching up, not a huge deal just something I noticed if you're being EXTREMELY PICKY.
2nd - Color accuracy with on screen color id give a 8-10. In some spots it'll project a random different color than what's actually on screen. Again I knew not to expect it to be 100% perfect, but not worth complaining about to me.
3rd - installation does take kinda long if you want to place the lights correctly to function the best. The adhesive isn't the best, used 3m tape, it does hold, but if you're familiar with 3m tape, you know its more about the prep work before applying vs the actually strength of the adhesives themselves. Some of the spots around the cornering of the lights when you have to make hard angle adjustments is where the tape is the easiest. It comes come with some placement holders, but I could of felt a little more comfortable with a few more to secure a couple other spots.

Overall I do love this product, hoping they last a long time, completely adds a different element to your TV and gives it great ambiance. Added a video so you can see for yourself.

Tras 2 semanas de uso, puedo decirles que es un producto de calidad y le queda perfecto a una pantalla de 65 pulgadas. Eso sí, poner la tira de leds tú solo/a será medianamente un reto, por lo grande de la pantalla y más si está en un soporte en la pared.
La tira de leds en si tiene un recubrimiento tipo silicón y está dividida en sus 4 lados, quedando 2 tiras cortas para los laterales y 2 largas para arriba y abajo. Puedes ponerla en la dirección que te guste, ya sea en el sentido de las agujas del reloj o en sentido contrario, la aplicación al configurarlo pregunta, incluso por la posición de la cámara si está debajo o por arriba.
Una vez ya puesta la tira de leds es realmente fácil de configurar, descargas la aplicación y vinculas tu dispositivo (ya enchufado a la corriente). Realizas los pasos de calibración y demás, y listo!
Puedes agregarlo a tu ecosistema de Google o Amazon, en mi caso lo tengo con Google y lo reconoce sin problemas.
Ya una vez configurado todo, es una maravilla, si bien, la respuesta no es instantánea (para ello hay productos más caros), no incomoda en lo absoluto, se ve realmente bien y da una sensación extra (no muy notoria) de inmersión al ver el contenido. el único detalle que le he encontrado, es que, en la parte inferior central como que no detecta bien los colores y coloca unos un tanto fuera de escena, pero no es nada que me incomode.
Un detalle positivo es que puedes regular la intensidad de la iluminación de la tira de leds, para cuando sea de noche y no quieres tanta iluminación, puedes configurarlo.
Recomiendo ampliamente esta tira de leds, si pueden conseguirla en oferta sería excelente, no los dejará decepcionados.

Lo compré en oferta y a pesar de que hay opciones más baratas entiendo el porqué este está en ese rango de precio.

El producto se ve y siente de buena calidad y a pesar de que la cámara de repente se ve curiosa montada en la televisión la inmersión que te da lo vale. La instalación y calibración me tomo yo creo unos 30 o 40 minutos, el pegamento de la tira, que era lo que más me preocupaba ya que siempre es lo primero que falla en este tipo de productos, es suficiente y no necesite usar todos los aditamentos extras para sujetarlo.

A pesar de que tiene un buen rango de colores no tiene capacidad para todos los colores de las imágenes pero no es algo que interrumpa la visualización. La integración con Alexa fue muy sencilla y la aplicación es lo suficientemente amigable.

Como punto negativo pondría el precio, ya que a pesar de que es un producto de calidad el precio se siente aún elevado, así que recomiendo comprarlo en oferta nada más. Otro punto en contra que vi es que no ofrece la posibilidad de un adaptador para que la tira y el control se alimenten de una de las entradas USB de la televisión lo que ahorraría el cable extra y haría ver el set up más agradable visualmente.

Love this product, adds nice background lighting to TV, easy to install.

Just wished the Ambient movie or game mode was a tad brighter.

Single colour mode is nice and bright, brighter than the cheaper backlighting it replaced.

There are so many features, mire than you will ever need, and being able to create your own is nice.

Music mode is good to.

It does tend to favor red, or orange in general, so hense the adjusting backlight saturation and white balance.

I placed my camera on top, because I feel it's less senstive to any reflections off the roof effecting colour.

As my background wall colour is green, then yes will effect the colours, but looking at the reflection on the roof doing colour tests its pretty impressive HDR 4K content is were it really pops, not so much for standard tv broadcast.

Would I recommend it? The answer is yes.

A tip for getting the right colours, or close, is find a white screen and adjust white balance, so it's as near to white as possible. Set saturation around 25-30% and full brightness seemed about right for me. But adjusting white balance is the key as its near the yellow end and with saturation at 100% orange looked red, I turned the saturation down till orange looked orange or near enough rather than red. Colours now looming great

El producto llegó muy bien, todo bien empaquetado y sellado totalmente nuevo, instalarlo es relativamente fácil solo siguiendo muy bien el manual, lo instalé en una pantalla Oled de 55” y quedó excelente, menciono lo de Oled porque los que tengan una y estén considerando el producto se toparán con la forma peculiar de la parte trasera de una oled donde la tira led tendrá que adaptar ciertos dobleces para cubrir la parte inferior y al igual que a mi, les preocupará que se despegue, esto por el momento no ha sido un problema pues pude adaptar bien la tira a este giro y además vienen unos fijadores que ayudarán a que no se levante la tira. La funcionalidad del seguimiento es muy buena, solo por la cuestión de que tiene un ligero retraso en los cambios de colores pero es natural por que es con cámara, exceptuando esto, el producto es asombroso y me encantó pues se ve genial es muy funcional y ya que funciona a través de la cámara, no importa si usas una u otra consola de juegos o si usas las aplicaciones de streaming en la TV el seguimiento de luz siempre funcionara, no como los de HDMI. Lo único que no me agradó es que cuando hay una pantalla totalmente oscura no atenúa ni apaga las luces, se mantienen en colores rojizos, naranjas y morados, hubiera estado muy padre que si la película, juego o lo que sea que ves tiene una pantalla oscura se apagaran para dar mas envolvimiento sin embargo, no es algo que arruine la experiencia para nada. La recomiendo al 100%
