About this item

  • DELUXE COMFORT – Completely redesigned from the inside out, our three-season Insulated Q-Core Deluxe provides the ultimate sleep experience when comfort and performance is the priority. I-Beam construction reduces pack weight and provides consistent stability with an ultra-comfortable, super-quiet quilted two-way stretch top for a cushioned pillow-soft sleeping surface. Larger outer chambers keep you comfortably cradled in the middle of the pad.
  • TOASTY WARM – R Value of 4.3; Three-Season - PrimaLoft Silver insulation works with a heat reflective barrier to trap body heat and reflect it back, so you stay comfortable as the temperatures drop. Sleeping on frozen ground? Increase thermal insulation by adding the Big Agnes 3rd Degree Foam Pad.
  • LIGHT & DEPENDABLE – These pads are built with a quilted top and a lightweight nylon-spandex fabric for a soft-touch sleeping surface. The bottom is built of durable, double rip-stop fabric with aviation grade TPU lamination adding extra durability. Despite their amazing comfort, these pads are still remarkably light - the Regular 20” x 72” weighs 25 oz. and packs to 4.5” x 8.5”
  • EASY TO INFLATE - High volume valves with micro adjustments make for fast inflation/deflation and easy fine tuning to your preferred firmness. A pad inflation sack is included. Protective storage sack, replacement valve seal and 3M patches also included with your pad.
  • WHAT IS AN R-VALUE? - An R-Value indicates a sleeping pad's ability to resist heat loss. Unlike temperature ratings, R-Values are standard across all pads and are assigned based on quantitative testing designed to give you a better idea of how warm a pad truly is. The higher the rating, the warmer the pad.

I've tried a handful of different pads searching for something super comfy but light for backpacking, but they were always either not cushy enough to be actually, truly comfortable or were so crinkly and noisy that shifting slightly in my sleep would wake me up. I'm a somewhat light sleeper. This one isn't as light and doesn't pack as small as the BA Insulated SLX I had previously or the Sea to Summit Comfort Light pad, but it is so comfortable that I decided it's worth the weight because I actually get a good night's sleep on it. The slightly stretchy fabric of the top layer makes it feel almost like my bed at home and it's really nice for side sleeping. It's not silent when I move, but it's much quieter than any other pad I've tried. I just took it on a two week backpacking trip on the Colorado Trail in early August and slept like a baby every night (except one night camping above 12,000' where it was a little chilly through the pad with my 20 degree bag, but not miserable). Getting good sleep is definitely worth the tradeoff of the higher weight and volume for me.

This is the most comfortable camp pad I have had. It's bulkier than I prefer for backpacking, but at night my 62-year-old back thanks me for fitting it into the pack. I also use it for car camping. This is the second one I've bought. My first one popped a slow leak after 6 years. I intend to repair it but needed a reliable one asap.

The phrase you get what you pay for is usually taken in a negative way but not this time. I have used the self inflating Coleman sleeping pads before and they are decent but I am a side sleeper and tent to toss and turn. Those just put a lot of pressure on my hips and shoulders.

What I was worried about was that this would be delicate and when I turned it would bounce all over. The reality is that when I would turn this would not toss me out. The baffles seemed to have kept me in place. This was too large for my sleeping bag pad insert space but the texture on the top kept my sleeping bag from moving around. Durability has been good. I dont jump on it and I try to keep the ground under my tent free from sharp objects. But I did camp with my dog and she did walk on it a few times and her nails were directly on the pad and left no marks and did not catch when she moved around. I did kick her off real quick though.

Youtube a couple of the reviews and you will see what all the rave is about. As for me, I am ready to sleep on it again.

It took one use for me to love this air mattress. No it’s not as compact as my old one when packed up but worth the space and weight. As a restless side sleeper I need something with a little loft to keep my hips from hurting and this is perfect. So quick to adjust it. Over fill it lay down, push the button and let it deflate until your comfortable. Looking forward to using this more this year.

Purchased this because how small it packs to replace the big self inflating mat I had. I'm impressed with this sleeping mattress. It's made of durable material. When inflated, it is thick and supports my weight (250 lbs). I like the fact it's a bit wider that other mattresses and the sides are taller to keep me on it.
The only thing to improve this is the design of the included inflation bag. The bag itself is rather small and takes forever to inflate the mattress. I ended up getting a battery powered pump to inflate & deflate.

Comfortable for a hiking pad. I'm a big man and the wider model is a must. The heat reflective material keeps the mattress warm. Only used during summer months so far. Tip- don't over inflate, adjust the air pressure and you will be more comfortable.

It is comfortable and overall I really like it but after 1 year maybe being used a dozen times it has pin hole sized leaks on both sides. I keep repairing them but they are hard to find. I now inflate the thing as much as possible and wake up in the morning touching the ground in spots. It was too expensive to only last a year.
