Yesterday, our Head of Transport (ANZ) Scott Walker presented and participated in an industry panel at the CTAA Safe Container Loading and Training Practices seminar in Sydney. The aim of the session was to promote best practice in container packing and cargo restraint inside shipping containers – from a commercial and a safety standpoint. Scott presented on the safe loading, declarations, unpacks and safety considerations as it pertains to our fleet operations at Mondiale VGL. As an Associate Partner of Cure Kids, we were thrilled to be involved in the Rebel Sport 24 – hour challenge this week. Staff from our Auckland office came together, embraced the spirit of collaboration, pushing boundaries, and achieving greatness for a wonderful cause. After a fantastic 40 year career, Mondiale VGL would like to acknowledge and thank Mark Callus and Louise Rigoni as they retire from Customs Agency Services. Customs Agency Services (CAS) was founded by Phillip and Veronica Callus in Adelaide in 1976, with siblings Louise and Mark joining in 1983 and 1984 respectively. They went on to purchase the company in 1997, expanding the client base and solidifying CAS as the largest international freight forwarding and logistics provider in South Australia. In 2021, Mondiale VGL acquired Customs Agency Services. The leadership, experience and support given by Mark and Louise in guiding our vision with their insights and unique expertise has been invaluable. We are grateful for all that Mark and Louise has brought to our business and the many hours they have given to support Mondiale VGL, our staff and our customers and we wish them both a happy and healthy retirement. #mondialevgl #team #logistics
