**** ENG 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲. To achieve sustainable development and meet the aspirations of #Agenda2063 that envisions the “Africa We Want”, Africa has progressively accelerated and increased the strategic investments in its greatest asset, the youth, who constitute the majority of its population. The African Union recognizes the centrality of it’s young people. Unleashing their potential to be more vibrant and productivity to drive the continental development is important. 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 through investments in our youth, remains a top priority. Growing and nurturing the empowerment of our young population by laying the right foundation in terms of quality 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 revolution and improving infrastructure aligned with today’s demands, will prepare them for the labour market dynamics. Today's commemoration reminds us the need to rally the African youth to be fully part of the agenda of the Union.
