The 50-year relationship between Ford Motor Company and ABB Robotics has entered a new chapter, as the two leaders of their respective industries work together to develop #AMR solutions that meet Ford’s current and future manufacturing needs. Based on ABB’s #VSLAM-enabled AMRs, the collaboration began in Spain and Germany, and has now expanded to the United States.    With ABB celebrating 50 years of #roboticinnovation since the development of the world's first commercial all-electric robot in 1974, Ford is clearly one of ABB’s longest tenured and most important customers. It allows direct communication with ABB Robots via simple Python code, making it easily accessible to both beginners and advanced programmers.     With ABB GoFa cobots, architects can test and refine their fabrication processes on a smaller scale, optimizing designs before scaling up. Once perfected, full-size projects are constructed using larger ABB robots, ensuring that the final product is executed with the same precision and care as the model.
