United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) hat dies direkt geteilt
👏 Nordea Asset Management (NAM) wins Principles for Responsible Investment #Climate Award for its collaborative engagement to #CutMethane ℹ️ In 2022, NAM launched a three-year collaborative engagement targeting sectors with major methane emissions, such as energy, utilities, and waste management. ➡️ The initiative's goal was for companies to achieve near-zero methane emissions, demonstrated by joining UN Environment Programme’s Oil and Gas Methane Partnership 2.0 (OGMP 2.0) and achieving its Gold Standard Reporting. ➡️ OGMP 2.0 delivers critical transparency and accountability by moving companies toward accurate, measurement-based data needed to drive mitigation. 🟢 NAM's impact includes recruiting several major oil and gas companies, such as ExxonMobil, Chevron and Petrobras, to join OGMP 2.0 and commit to granular methane emissions reporting. ➡️ Furthermore, Nordea Asset Management onboarded nearly 20 investors with more than €3.7 trillion in assets under management to the Nordea methane collaborative engagement. Congratulations on this achievement!
