Angels of Davos: A First-of-Its-Kind Gathering ✨ Last Thursday, the Angels of Davos gathered for the first time, uniting Europe’s top angel investors to shape the future of investment. A completely spontaneous idea – sparked just days before – was brought to life by Andreas Grape and Ash Pournouri of Nordic Angels, in close collaboration with Mark Turrell and unDavos Summit. A true display of entrepreneurial spirit! What stood out? A clear demand for more coordination, policy alignment, and investment in emerging technologies – and a shared belief that Europe’s competitiveness can be strengthened through collaborative investment frameworks and a more unified angel network. A New Chapter Unfolded at unDavos last week: Open Space & unConference 🎉 Last Monday, we brought a fresh, dynamic approach to conversations in Davos – full of energy, learning, and action. From Leadership Tango to Ego Death for Effective Leadership, from Empowering Women to Co-Creating with Youth, the diversity of discussions set the tone for an inspiring day. A big thank you to JPool for capturing the magic in the mountains. What made it truly special? Everyone in the room was a participant – not just an audience. In true unDavos spirit, these conversations weren’t just about ideas but about shaping them together. Whether exploring innovative solutions, tackling pressing global challenges, or sharing transformative leadership practices, each session was an opportunity to spark change. Open Space Technology (OST) is a participant-driven format that flips the traditional conference model. Instead of a rigid agenda, attendees create their own discussions around a central theme. It’s all about self-organization, spontaneity, and deep engagement. The guiding principles: 1️⃣ Whoever comes is the right people. 2️⃣ Whatever happens is the only thing that could have. 3️⃣ Whenever it starts is the right time. 4️⃣ When it’s over, it’s over. And, of course, the Law of Two Feet – if a session isn’t working for you, move to one where you can learn or contribute more.
