This initiative demonstrated the potential of integrating drones into the medical field to enhance healthcare logistics. In Switzerland, the flights were made possible thanks to the expertise and dedication of Digisky, who managed the Swiss segment and coordinated the flights between Estavayer-le-Lac and Payerne with RigiTech, Hôpital intercantonal de la Broye (HIB), skyguide, Ville de Payerne, and swiss aeropole. Congratulations to Digisky to enable these groundbreaking trials, underscoring the capacity of drone technology to ensure swift delivery of essential medical supplies, blood, or medicines. 🚁 Multi-tasking helicopter!   A few weeks ago, we introduced you to Roze mobility, an innovative start-up that designs and manufactures revolutionary helicopters for a wide range of uses.   Last week, the Roze Mobility team carried out tests on new systems:   "As a manufacturer with a strong mechanical experience, we used an on the shelf control system to validate our "frame". This was achieved back in 2023. The next step was to fit our platforms with a control system that would match the mechanical quality of our machines. With Kepstronic, another company set up at the swiss aeropole, we co-developped over the last 12 months a full set: autopilot, datalink and ground station systems. 🚀Digisky supports their clients for drone testing in Payerne!   Yesterday, together with its partner Alltron AG, digisky conducted multiple test flights. Flying at swiss aeropole have allowed them to validate new flight and emergency procedures for the DJI Flycart 30 drone in a safe environment. RUAG and Touring Club Suisse also took the opportunity to participate in the test sessions. 🚀 Success at 100 meters! 🚀 We are thrilled for the Gruyère Space Program team who has just completed a successful flight test campaign, reaching an altitude of 100 meters. This milestone represents a critical step for the future of this EPFL student association and the development of the reusable rocket technologies in Europe. These kind of tests are at the heart of the swiss aeropole technology parc mission where we support aerospatial development at every levels. These flights were made possible thanks to fruitful local cooperation between key partners.
