🌟 Collaborating for Progress: A Milestone for DYN-MARS 🌟 I’d like to say “THANK YOU!” to everyone in the DYN-MARS consortium, with special recognition to the Advisory Board members and stakeholders who joined us for our first DYN-MARS stakeholder workshop on 10th September. Your participation and insights have been invaluable! A special shout-out to the air traffic controllers and pilots who took part in our virtual workshop on 27th August. Your perspectives from the field are crucial to refining our research and developing meaningful solutions. 🛫👨✈️👩✈️ We intentionally ran this first stakeholder consultation workshop ahead of our exercises to ensure that our concepts and methodology were sound. The workshop successfully presented the methodology, concept, and approach to be used in DYN-MARS. Stakeholder feedback was invaluable, not only in refining these elements but also in generating ideas for incentivising further development and implementation of the concepts identified to minimise environmental impact in the Terminal Manoeuvring Area (TMA). We thank the participants for their active engagement before and during the workshop, which allowed us to modify and fine-tune our approach. Several insightful comments were made about additional aspects where the DYN-MARS solution could have a positive impact, providing exciting opportunities for further exploration. At its core, DYN-MARS – Dynamic Management of Aircraft and Configuration and Route Structures – is about finding the sweet spot between fuel and noise optimisation, and we’re well on our way to achieving that balance. Thank you to all involved for your dedication and collaboration! #DYNMARS #ATM #DigitalSky #innovation #SESAR3JU #HorizonEU #MobilityStrategy #Uspace #HorizonEurope #CEFTransport SESAR Joint Undertaking Airbus Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V.
