The expert jury selected the 10 Venture Leaders Cleantech 2024, who will travel to Germany as part of the Swiss National Startup Team. SolidWatts, dont le siège est à Pully/VD, développe une solution qui permet de remplacer les combustibles fossiles et de produire de la chaleur à la base de l’électricité pour les processus industriels. Le chauffage diélectrique, également connu sous le nom de chauffage par micro-ondes ou par radiofréquence, est un processus par lequel de la chaleur est générée dans un matériau en l'exposant à un champ électromagnétique. Cette technologie est soutenue par la Fondation Suisse pour le Climat. « L'équipe bénéficie d'un bon réseau dans l'industrie et grâce à cette nouvelle technologie, de grandes économies de CO2 seront possibles dans quelques années", prédit Dominik Scheiben avec conviction.
