The digital doctor for wind turbines
Info
We are RTDT - Real Time Decision Tools. The digital doctor for wind turbines. We are a deep tech spin-off from ETH Zurich developing technology for structural health monitoring and power performance optimization of wind turbines. We combine real-time digital twins of wind turbines with sophisticated proprietary analytical models to provide actionable insights into a large number of use cases through our SaaS platform. Our software is complemented by our proprietary hardware Aerosense, a wireless, self-sufficient, best-in-class sensor module for direct data capture on wind turbine blades, combining aerodynamic, vibrational and acoustic data. What our solution can do for wind turbines: -structural health assessments -power performance optimization -lifetime extension -root cause identification -optimal O&M planning and much more... RTDT is coming to the US 🇺🇸 Reach out to Aris Mukherjee if you are in Boston or Houston in March and want to meet 🤝
Meet Imad Abdallah, Konstantinos Tatsis, and Aris Mukherjee, founders of RTDT Laboratories AG, one of the #SwissStartups participating in #ClimateCollider, the startup exchange program powered by #Swissnex and Innosuisse. Wind power is one of the fastest-growing energy sources, with global capacity about to cross the 1TW threshold and projected to double by 2030. But as turbine fleets grow and age, managing them presents a challenge. RTDT uses technology developed at ETH Zürich to monitor the structural health of wind turbines in real time. Using their proprietary sensors and software, they produce digital twins of each turbine, detecting damage, extending lifetimes, increasing energy production, and reducing costs. During Climate Collider, RTDT will explore two ecosystems at the cutting edge of the wind industry. Texas is the leading state for wind energy, with over a quarter of the total US capacity. Meanwhile, Massachusetts recently inaugurated a new era for US wind power with the launch of the first commercial-scale offshore wind farm in US waters. Keep an eye out for Aris in #Boston and #Houston this month, and stay tuned for more about the program!
