Krishank’s journey is marked by a commitment to purposeful work. Having previously worked with an NGO focused on eliminating ocean plastic and through volunteering on social impact projects, he’s no stranger to making a positive difference. Now, he’s set to channel this passion into advancing our mission of sustainable, seaweed-based packaging.♻️🌍 Outside of work, Krish is an outdoor enthusiast who finds joy in hiking, cooking up new flavors, and challenging his skills on the badminton court.🏞️🍜🏸 We're thrilled to welcome you!

#2 noriware at World Trade Organization💡 Our CEO, Jessica Farda, is once again heading to Geneva for WTO’s Trade and Environment Week 2024! 🌍 This event brings together global policy makers to discuss plastic pollution, clean energy, and sustainable trade, and we’re thrilled to contribute to these critical conversations. We’ll be highlighting how seaweed-based solutions can address plastic pollution and promote environmental regeneration on a global scale, supporting sustainability goals across both developed and developing nations.💚 We look forward to impactful discussions with thought leaders like Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Ambassador Erwin Bollinger and Bertrand Piccard as we explore how trade can drive clean energy transitions, sustainable agriculture, and beyond. #tradeandenvironment

Sustainability meets innovation at sea! Yesterday, noriware had the pleasure of being in The Hague, meeting with forward-thinking companies working with seaweed such as Notpla, Vyld, The Seaweed Company, BettaFish, Nordic SeaFarm and many more. Major kudos to the incredible innovations and commercial successes they have achieved with seaweed. It is an honour for noriware to work alongside these impressive companies and push the boundaries of what is possible with this remarkable material. We’re proud to be part of the North Sea Farmers Initiative, which combines sustainable seaweed farming with offshore wind farms in the Netherlands. 🌊 By using the space between the turbines, these farms are transforming how we utilize ocean resources—producing renewable energy while cultivating seaweed, all without disrupting marine ecosystems. noriware is excited to contribute by replacing plastics with nature-based solutions. 🎉 How do you celebrate your company anniversaries? At noriware, we go all out! This year, for our 2nd birthday, we kicked off a three-hour hike from Zeiningen to Rheinfelden, soaking in the beauty of nature. We found a cozy spot in the woods to light a fire and enjoy a rustic outdoor lunch.🌲🔥 When we finally made it to Rheinfelden, the legendary Feldschlösschen brewery was calling our name—so naturally, we answered! And yes, a tasting was absolutely on the menu.🍻 After soaking up some brewing wisdom, we headed to Basel for a delicious dinner to wrap up the day in style. Since then, she has spent nearly three years in research and development, working extensively with biopolymers, sustainable materials, and advanced analytical techniques such as DSC, TGA, and DMA.🌿🧪 From developing coatings for medical devices to refining purification processes for bio-based chemicals, Genny has always been driven by a desire to innovate. Now she is committed to applying the same energy and creativity to noriware's mission of producing sustainable, seaweed-based packaging solutions. 🌍♻️ Outside the lab, you can find Genny watching exciting thrillers, learning German, or occasionally sipping a well-earned beer with friends. 🎬🍺📚 Welcome aboard, Genny🌟🚀
