KKCG has joined Rockaway Capital in the long-term development of cultural initiatives, supporting events, especially in the fields of music, design and film, whose reputations extend beyond the borders of the Czech Republic. These are the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Colours of Ostrava and Designblok, Prague International Design Festival. In the words of Karel Komarek: "We choose cultural projects that appeal to us and support them on a long-term basis. It is a pleasure to see, for example, how festivals - be it the Karlovy Vary Film Festival or the Dvořák Music Festival - mature and grow over the years, attracting new audiences and gaining popularity not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad."

This week is filled with amazing news! ✨ Karel Komárek Family Foundation in partnership with the "Supporting Ukrainian Culture" initiative, a joint project of the Ministerstvo kultury of the Czech Republic and the Czech Committee of International Council of Museums (ICOM) pledged to help preserve Ukrainian cultural heritage amid ongoing war. In partnership with the National Preserve Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the scope of the ARK project was officially expanded at the Institute for Cultural Strategy in Lviv. As Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine continues, the country's cultural heritage sites have been systematically targeted, resulting in devastating losses to historical and artistic treasures. In response, KKFF with support of private philanthropy and companies like MND a.s., launched the ARK project in late 2023. ARK III will focus on the digitization of 3D objects and is being prepared in collaboration with the National Museum of the Czech Republic. The complexity of the ARK III project is unparalleled, as it combines a rescue and digitization site along with a compact mobile unit that can be quickly deployed. This will enable the digitization of smaller artefacts found in endangered museums and galleries across Ukraine.

MND a.s. has successfully completed the construction of its first wind power plant in Ukraine, WF Oriv. ✨ Construction of the wind farm began in September 2021, and though Russian aggression delayed the project, it did not stop it. In total, there were hundreds of oversized loads, with the longest part measuring 72 meters and the heaviest component 80 tons. "For MND, this delivers on our priority of strengthening our role in the renewable energy sector, where we are investing in photovoltaic projects and would like to participate in more wind power projects in Ukraine in the future," said jana hamršmídová, Director of Energy at MND. The ten turbines in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains in the west of the country have a capacity of up to 59 MW.

Yesterday, we unveiled "Dvořák Dreams" at the The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C., celebrating the legacy of Antonín Dvořák. We are thrilled to introduce the 0xCollection to a U.S. audience in collaboration with Refik Anadol Studio, demonstrating how digital art can push creative boundaries and enrich cultural heritage. The Karel Komárek Family Foundation has proudly partnered with the Kennedy Center for nearly a decade and, with Allwyn's support, this unique experience is free and open to all until September 24th.

Allwyn North America recently celebrated the Illinois State Lottery's 50th anniversary. And they did it with the largest golden disco ball in the United States - a giant 35-foot ball that was the centerpiece of the celebration. The lottery began in 1974 and was the first state lottery to broadcast its drawings live on television. ✨
