Our HUBER+SUHNER team in Poland 🏃🏃♀️ is known for organising and participating in sports events. They took part in several runs in August, continuing strong after the summer, to several road races in the fall. Piotr Wiśniewski took on the challenge to complete the magic distance of 42.2 kilometres, and Agnieszka Przybys went even some steps further, with an ultra-distance of 52 kilometres! Celebrating #PinkOctober in Poland! 🎀 Our teams in Krzeszowice, joined the global movement to raise awareness about breast cancer. It is important that women are focused on preventation doing regular screenings and self-examinations. Everyone, regardless of gender, should raise awareness and support this vital cause. On 12 October, 2,000 people took part in the second charitable street running race to champion awareness for people impacted by spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). We give a #HighFive to the 20 colleagues from our Malaysia office who joined together to participate as a #team in the five-kilometre run. “Together We Care” has reinforced a national effort to #spot symptoms, #manage them, and #actfast through early detection, treatment, and interventions. SMA is a rare, genetically inherited neuromuscular disorder that affects motor nerves, leading to muscle weakness and impacting essential physical activities. Proceeds from the event were channelled to #SpinalMuscularAtrophyMalaysia (SMAM), an organisation that provides essential education, care, and support for SMA patients and their families. #Together, #Care #SMA

Our Malaysian colleagues held their second #RecyclingCompetition ♻️ between 3 June and 30 August 2024. This initiative aims to promote recycling and enhance #sustainability awareness among our employees 👥 at work and at home as they can bring #Paper, #Plastic and #Metal goods for recycling to our office facilities. We are proud to announce that our colleagues collectively gathered an impressive amount of 473 kg of recyclable household materials out of plastic, metal and paper. The top three winners 🙌, who demonstrated exceptional commitment to recycling, were awarded with special eco-friendly gift baskets which contained a selection of eco-products, organic foods and sustainable personal care items, reflecting our dedication to promoting #EnvironmentallyResponsibleChoices. This competition raises awareness among employees about the importance of implementing sustainable practices in our daily lives.
