What is the essence of a leader? How is their identity formed? This year, which marks Egon Zehnder’s 60th anniversary, our São Paulo office had the privilege of celebrating another edition of the Leaders & Daughters event on September 3rd. We delved into the theme of leadership identities—a dynamic process of self-discovery and transformation. The evening featured speakers Neca Setubal, President of Fundação Tide Setubal, Luiza Bet, Co-Founder of Kuri, and Luiza Vilanova, CEO & Founder of Tocando em Frente, who shared stories, reflections, and lessons from their journeys in conversations moderated by Egon Zehnder consultants Lissa Schreurs and Caroline Azevedo Lico. A strong message resonated among all: leaders who cultivate their humanity, allow themselves to experiment and make mistakes, and are guided by strong values, become courageous enough to embrace high-impact missions. A special thanks to our guests who brought their daughters, nieces, granddaughters, and mentees, who played a pivotal role in making this evening truly memorable. We also thank our Office Leader Andre Abram and our colleagues Lissa Schreurs, Suzana Pacheco Arantes, Natasha Guedes, Gabriela Felício Leite, and Luisa Zottis for organizing the event. Reinforcing our purpose of leadership for a better world, we hope that this edition of #LeadersAndDaughters has inspired the new generation of leaders and that these conversations will keep reverberating in both personal and professional spheres throughout their journeys.
