“Over my 9-year career at EF, I’ve had too many ‘wow, this is my job’ moments to count. Who can say they’ve hiked to Machu Picchu, marveled at the Grand Canyon, cheered on our pro cycling team at the Tour de France, and watched the sunrise over Angkor Wat... all for work?! The impact on my life is immeasurable. EF had challenged me to rethink what is possible. I’ve witnessed incredible logistical and operational feats in the face of challenging world events unexpected situations. As a member of the Go Ahead On-Tour Support team for 8+ years I know there’s nothing we can’t do. This mindset has pushed me to approach difficult situations with a level head, looking for creative solutions, using my resources and keeping a positive attitude. I know what it looks like to truly go above and beyond for our customers and I'm proud of the work we do every day. Perhaps most impactful of all is the connection I have with my coworkers. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month in the US, members of Latinx @ EF shared why they joined this resource group and what being part of this community has meant to them.    What is Latinx @ EF? Bringing people together is what we do best, especially when it’s our own team. Leaders from EF International Language Campuses gathered in Budapest to kick off the year with a focus on how to “Own Our Future” together.   Over the course of the event, the teams dug into key topics driving transformational change—developing future leaders, leading with strengths, making data-driven decisions, and staying committed to student satisfaction.   It was more than just planning for the future. Lachlan Morton has done it again. Thirty days, 9 hours, 59 minutes. That’s how long it took him to cycle one lap around Australia, starting and ending in his hometown. The ride was just over 14,200 kilometers—and this was about much more than setting a new record.
