Scafograf 300 MCMLIX, in the version with a blue dial and bezel, can be described as the quintessential summer timepiece. With its 300 m water resistance and helium escape valve, this diver’s watch is designed for summer aquatic adventures and it also provides a stylish and distinctive appearance for occasions away from the water. Originally launched by the Maison in 1959, Scafograf has evolved over time, enhancing its performance through advancements in materials and functionality. This version, celebrating the pioneering collection right in its name, recalls the vintage appeal of the original model on the dial, echoed in the distinctive indexes and markers featuring vintage luminescence and in the peculiar triangular hour hand. The watch boasts a striking blue galbé dial, evocative of the sea and reflecting the Swiss Maison's official colour, with the matte finishing further enhancing the depth and richness of this vibrant hue. This captivating blue extends to the unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel, where vintage luminescence accentuates the first quarter of the minute scale, creating a dynamic interplay of light and colour. The blue-on-blue theme continues seamlessly to the accessories, with options including a blue integrated rubber strap which complements the watch's overall aesthetic and ensures a cohesive look. #Eberhard #EberhardWatches #SwissWatches #WatchMaking

Eberhard & Co. has renewed its participation as Main Sponsor and Official Timekeeper of "La Leggenda di Bassano - Trofeo Giannino Marzotto", a regularity race of the ASI (Italian Historical Automotoclub) circuit dedicated to vintage "barchette", organised by the Circolo Veneto Automoto d'Epoca (Venetian Vintage Motors Club). For the occasion, the historic cars were accompanied by an exceptional forerunner: the Dallara Stradale, driven by two-time World Rally Champion Massimo "Miki" Biasion brand ambassador of Eberhard & Co. One hundred vintage cars from 12 countries, of great historical and collectors' value, travelled over 400 kilometres through the evocative landscapes of the Dolomites, touching enchanting locations. At the end of the race Eberhard & Co. awarded two precious wristwatch chronographs to the crew who took first place overall at the wheel of an exceptional 1927 Bugatti T37. The event once again proved its "legendary" status, celebrating a passion that defies time - the very spirit that unites vintage car enthusiasts and reflects the DNA of the Swiss Maison Eberhard & Co. #Eberhard #EberhardWatches #SwissWatches #WatchMaking

Eberhard & Co. unveils a new chronograph that enhances the historic Extra-fort collection, launched in 1940, to an unprecedented exclusive evolution. The Extra-fort Roue à Colonnes Retour en Vol epitomizes the distinctive craftsmanship that characterizes the Swiss Maison’s most remarkable creations. It symbolizes the dedication to crafting innovative chronographs that merge the technical and aesthetic charm of vintage Eberhard & Co. timepieces with a modern twist. The new chronograph features two exceptional features: the column wheel and the fly-back complication. The soul of the chronograph is the column wheel, blued, and visible through the sapphire glass caseback—a sophisticated mechanism that manages the chronograph's functions, ensuring greater accuracy in their activation, smoother operation, and a sensation of softness when using the push-buttons. Additionally, the fly-back complication, marked on the dial in the evocative French term "retour en vol," allows the chronograph to be reset and restarted with a single press of the button, without needing to stop, reset, and restart the chronograph. This function, particularly beneficial for timing consecutive intervals in rapid succession, was originally employed by pilots in the 1930s to streamline the timing of various flight phases. The elegance of the movement is mirrored in the watch's meticulously designed aesthetics. The dial, featuring frappé finishing, includes a circular zone and azurée counters and is offered in various color combinations: argenté with argenté, black or blue counters; blue with argenté counters; and a distinctive "total blue" with a blue dégradé dial and blue counters. Depending on the dial version, a classic strap in black or blue alligator leather or a steel Chaque bracelet for a sportier look is available. #Eberhard #EberhardWatches #SwissWatches #WatchMaking

Introduced in 1996, Traversetolo can be considered a trailblazer in the realm of large-case watches and is among Eberhard & Co.'s most cherished models among both newcomers and seasoned collectors. With its case measuring 43 mm in diameter, it was a surprising hit at the launch and has maintained its popularity ever since. The appeal of this timepiece lies in its impressive size and its dependable hand-wound movement, a classic design from the 1950s that has been refined over the years. Traversetolo has now been reimagined with a new look that further emphasizes its essential design and easy readability. The dial, framed by a polished steel bezel, comes in a unique powder blue shade—a vibrant, refreshing color combined with white Arabic numerals and hands for an appealing contrast. This new dial can be paired with the steel bracelet or a soft-touch vintage leather strap in matching powder blue, creating a tone-on-tone, stylish look. Traversetolo is available in two versions: the classic model with a minted caseback and marks in relief, and the Vitré model, which showcases the movement through a sapphire glass caseback. #Eberhard #EberhardWatches #SwissWatches #WatchMaking

An extremely rare Eberhard & Co. yellow gold split-seconds chronograph wristwatch from the estate of the collector Guido Mondani was sold at The Geneva Watch Auction: XIX by Phillips for CHF 48,260, exceeding its original estimate of CHF 20,000-40,000. Dating from around 1938, the watch entered Mondani's collection in 1988, when the watch connoisseur bought it from an Eberhard & Co. salesman on his very last day of work.   This timepiece is a prime example of Eberhard & Co.'s pioneering production of chronographs from the late 1930s and is equipped with a split-seconds complication that allows intermediate times to be measured while the chronograph function is in use. The design of the chronograph is instantly recognisable, with a sleek, classic dial and a case with rounded, curvaceous lines and defined lugs. A timepiece that embodies both the cutting-edge style and the visionary approach to chronographs made to last a lifetime - that have always been the hallmark of the Maison since its early years. "Can timekeeping be revolutionised?"   This was the question that fascinated Palmiro Monti in the late 1990s, on the threshold of the new millennium. Having taken over the reins of the Company from the Eberhard family in 1969, the visionary entrepreneur felt it was the right time to push the boundaries of the mechanical chronograph sector. It was this desire - almost a dare - that laid the foundations for an intense process of study, research, exploration and experimentation.   The result? In 2001, the world saw the launch of the Chrono 4: a mechanical chronograph with a patented mechanism and a registered design that, for the first time in the history of watchmaking, displayed four counters horizontally.   This groundbreaking chronograph truly answered Monti's bold question.   It changed the chronograph industry by introducing an innovative design that not only enhanced the readability of the counters but also set itself apart as something genuinely unique and inimitable. Since its launch, Chrono 4 has been reimagined in numerous variations, incorporating new materials, colors, details and finishes, all while preserving its iconic identity. #Chrono4 #Eberhard #EberhardWatches #SwissWatches #Watchmaking
