Here are the highlights for Airbus & Boeing deliveries for August 2024: ▶ Airbus delivered 17 more aircraft than Boeing, for a total of 50, securing 499 aircraft deliveries in the first nine months of the year. ▶ Boeing delivered 33 aircraft, bringing the total to 291. ▶ The top 5 aircraft variants delivered were the Airbus A321-200NX (25), followed by B738-8 (19), A320-200N (12), B737-8-200 (5) and B787-10 (4). ▶ The operators that received the most Airbus aircraft were IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) (9), Spirit Airlines (4), Delta Air Lines (4), Pegasus Airlines (4), Turkish Airlines (4), and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (2). ▶ The operators that received the most Boeing aircraft were United Airlines (5), Singapore Airlines (3), Southwest Airlines (3), Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline (3), Shenzhen Airlines (2) and Air India Express (2).
