"We've found a way to sit together and discuss more than just regulations, which can be boring. We can also go outside the airfield, test things, and see them in action. We can physically interact with these devices, observe the remote ID in operation, watch the U-space software at work, and evaluate our performance." At last year’s Aerial Cities, Jordi Salvador Bernadí, CEO of BCN Drone Center, and our CEO and Co-Founder, Eszter Kovács, highlighted our collaborative efforts in advancing regulatory knowledge and hands-on SORA 2.5 training. Jordi shared insights into BCN Drone Centre’s commitment to integrating end users into the full spectrum of drone technology deployment, from concept to operational execution. He underlined the importance of experiencing drone technology firsthand, such as witnessing the functionality of Remote ID systems and U-space software in real-world scenarios, which enhances understanding and compliance with current regulations. Furthermore, the discussion delved into the potential for increased drone autonomy and its implications for revenue generation within the industry.
