Actor Michael Keaton and singer Sheryl Lee Ralph have called out their critics after taking home gold at the 2022 Emmy Awards.
Keaton won Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his stellar stint on Dopesick, while Ralph won Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Abbott Elementary.
"My face hurts so much from the fake smiling I've been doing," the actor said after he was presented his award by Oprah Winfrey. "This is one of the special projects I've ever worked on and it means something so thanks a lot, I'm very, very thankful."

But among the supporters, are the haters, said Keaton.
"There's one more thing I want to say, over the years there's been some doubters. You know what? We're cool," he said. "But I also had those people when times are rough who were the true believers, I f--k love you, man."

Sheryl Lee Ralph – who is well-loved as an actress and singer – also called out the adversity she's faced in her career.
The 65-year-old took to the stage in tears and proceeded to break out into song, belting out Endangered Species by Dianne Reeves.
"I am an endangered species, but I sing no victim song," she sang. "If you had a dream and thought your dream wouldn't, couldn't happen, I am here to tell you this is what believing looks like, this is what striving looks like - and don't you ever give up on yourself."
"If you get a Quinta Brunson in your corner, if you get a husband like mine in your corner and children like mine, and if you've got friends like everybody who voted for me, then anything is possible," she cried as the crowd gave her a standing ovation.
