FIFTY naughty cows caused a bit of a 'cowtastrophe' in Calne earlier today.
Calne Police were called to a report of loose cows in Anchor Road at about midday today, (25/06).
Surrounding roads had to be temporarily closed off to traffic as officers and several members of the public worked together to herd the cows back to nearby fields.
A few of the nosey cows decided to go for a wander into residents front gardens, which delayed the rescue mission.
A spokesperson for Calne Police said: "All the cows have now been left in the care of the owner."
