We are pleased to share the results of our Canada Sector Survey, providing a voice to the international education industry at a pivotal time following major policy announcements. In this new research, almost 9 in 10 respondents said that policies are negatively affecting their international programs and operations. While 67 percent of respondents felt that government intervention was necessary to manage the rapid increase in international enrolments, 68 percent disapprove of the suite of policies that were implemented. The latest 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 research is here! We are proud to have surveyed over 100k international students over twelve surveys, amplifying their concerns and perceptions to drive meaningful change. Latest key findings include: • The majority (66%) of students are considering more than one study destination as they seek certainty amidst changing global policies • Australia, Canada and the UK are now behind the US in perceptions that matter to students when choosing a study destination such as quality, value for money and graduate employment opportunities • 62% of students said they would be willing to change their study destination if it meant they could apply for post-study work visas/permits Through Emerging Futures, we are able to provide insights for the sector and detailed data for stakeholders and governments.
