Since joining Cossette as an Account Executive, Kathy’s had a track record of inspiring big ideas that have supported business growth for some of Canada’s top brands, including BMO Financial Group, Intact Insurance and Bell Canada. As SVP, Managing Director she led the McDonald’s Canada business with her unique expertise, championing a multidisciplinary team who create lasting impressions across the complete brand experience. Cossette and McDonald’s Canada have been partners for more than 43 years. Under Kathy’s leadership, some campaigns designed for the Canadian market have been selected and deployed on the global stage. Most recently, she has extended her leadership skills to the entire agency as SVP & GM for Toronto.
Kathy is a passionate advocate for motivating, inspiring and retaining the calibre of top talent that delivers on inspired creative ideas, playing a pivotal role in helping Cossette to earn the prestigious “Agency of the Year” designation from Strategy magazine, for three consecutive years. Also, in 2018, Cossette’s work with McDonald’s was awarded the preeminent Cannes Lions Grand Prix, a first in Cossette history and the first for Canada in more than a decade.
