Prior to that, he was enrolled in kindergarten, but because his academic skills were so superior, it was decided that he needed a more challenging programme. Jonathan's academic progress has been outstanding. His reading, spelling and math skills are considerably advanced for his grade level. Jonathan requires a stimulating and challenging programme in order for him to advance to his potential. He [has], therefore, been assigned to a grade two class in September. However, he will require a more specialized (enriched) programme in order for him to be sufficiently challenged. Jonathan has been a delightful and inspiring classroom member."
