Dr. Josipa Petrunic (she/elle), President & CEO of CUTRIC-CRITUC, is leading the future of #transportation 🚌 From #battery technology and hydrogen fuel cells to #zeroemissions transit, she's designed, developed and launched a number of impactful initiatives; including the Pan-Canadian Electric Bus Demonstration & Integration Trial (Phases I-II), the Pan-Canadian Hydrogen Fuel Cell Demonstration & Integration Trial (Phase I) and the Canadian National Smart Vehicle Demonstration & Integration Trial (Phase I). In 2014, Dr. Petrunic developed Canada’s first electric bus modelling tool, helping public organizations determine how zero-emissions #vehicles would operate in their communities. Now in its third generation, the tool has been used to plan full fleets by more than two dozen #transit agencies in Canada and the US. It's our pleasure to welcome Josipa as the keynote speaker for our upcoming Women Driven Mobility #YQG Breakfast, taking place on October 17th at 8AM. Attendees will enjoy a light breakfast while learning about the future of #mobility from this industry leading trailblazer. 9 hours in an airport can lead to some deep reflections. After an inspiring EDAC conference, I found myself pondering: • How do we navigate the innovation economy without overwhelming founders? • Is 'personal competitive advantage' the key to engaging Gen Z? • Can AI truly unlock unprecedented levels of productivity in economic development? These questions (and more) are reshaping our field. I've unpacked my thoughts in a new blog post that might just change how you view the future of economic development. Curious?
