It’s with great pleasure that we announce the promotion of Bruno Tellier from CTO to President of Voltari Power Systems(VPS). Bruno will report directly to Tim Markou, MBA President of Voltari Marine Electric(VME). VPS is the battery manufacturing, software engineering, and powertrain/propulsion division of Voltari. In addition to supporting VME’s marine products, VPS supplies other OEM commercial applications in the Marine, Rail, and Aerospace sectors. VPS’s mission is to drive excellence through innovation, specifically in applications that require high kW, continuous output (high sustained RPM) applications not common in automotive EV tech. Bruno co-founded LTS Marine (now VPS) along with our Director of Innovation, Jean-Francois Lavigne, in 2009. They built the world’s first tournament-ready 100% electric waterski boat with Correct Craft in 2010, the first 100% electric mobile rail car mover with Shuttlewagon in KC, USA in 2015, and the world’s first 100% electric pilot boat in Port de Sète, France in 2020. Bruno holds a P.Eng from Polytechnique Montréal in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s degree in project management (MSCA) from UQAM, and a PMP certification. Bruno has over 25 years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, R&D, and is one of the industry pioneers in the commercialization of electric and hybrid propulsion systems.
