Long-standing political relationships present the Ukrainian community with an opportunity to secure bipartisan support for Ukraine during another Donald Trump presidency, stated Andrij Dobriansky, director of communications at the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America. “It’s crucial that the Ukrainian community remains active. This isn’t just about the presidential elections, but also about Congressional and Senate races,” he told Ukraine’s 24/7 newscast in an interview.

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) is launching a “Remembering the Holodomor. The genocide of Ukrainians is ongoing” global advocacy campaign. In collaboration with the International Centre for Ukrainian Victory and Communities Army of Ukraine, we urge the global Ukrainian community and friends of Ukraine to organize and participate in events that both commemorate the victims of the Holodomor Genocide and denounce the Russian aggressor for its ongoing genocidal war. Here’s how you can contribute: 🌾 Organize actions, rallies, and flash mobs. 🌾On Saturday, November 23, light a candle of remembrance in memory of the millions who suffered under the brutal Stalinist regime. 🌾Petition governments to recognize the Holodomor as a genocide of the Ukrainian people and to organize official commemorative events. 🌾Use hashtags #StopRussian #GenocideInUkraine #WeRememberTerrorFamine #ShineaLight to spread the Holodomor awareness. 🌾Engage with the media by inviting journalists to your events and providing commentaries. 🌾Support educational initiatives that inform about the Holodomor. Currently, a major cyberattack is underway on the websites of the Ukrainian World Congress and the UWC initiative Unite with Ukraine. The countries primarily launching this DDoS attack include Russia, China, and Iran. These websites serve Ukrainian organizations by offering crucial information on key events, resources for global advocacy campaigns, and an efficient system for donating to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We regret any inconvenience caused and are diligently working to restore site access as quickly as possible.

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) stands in unwavering solidarity with the people of Georgia and joins them in demanding a thorough transparent and independent investigation into the alleged irregularities in the recent parliamentary election. Many European and other international leaders, including Georgia’s President Salome Zourabichvili, asserted that the October 26 parliamentary election in Georgia was neither free nor fair. “In this critical moment of history, Georgia faces an existential choice between freedom, pro-European democracy, and EU integration on one side, and isolation and pro-Russian authoritarianism on the other. The country’s democratic backsliding puts its sovereignty and statehood at stake amid Moscow’s attempt to drive the country into Russia’s sphere of influence,” stated UWC President Paul Grod.
