Ever wondered why our company is called Ultreia? (Version française ci-dessous) The story goes back to my 800km trek on the Camino de Santiago to St-Jacques de Compostelle just two years ago (time really does fly). Amidst breathtaking landscapes, unforgettable encounters and bouts of severe foot pain, I encountered the word 'Ultreia'. Pronounced "Ul-tray-ya", it's a historic term that pilgrims had used for over a thousand years to encourage each other to forge ahead. 'Ultreia' was more than a word; it was a rallying cry that inspired travelers to surpass their perceived limits, to go above and beyond the ordinary. It resonated so deeply that I made a promise to myself: if I ever started my own company, that would be its name. A few months later, the opportunity to start my own business materialized, and Ultreia Technologies was born—a name that not only captured the essence of what I envisioned for my business but also perfectly suited our model of providing top quality IT staffing services, both remote and local. L'histoire remonte à ma randonnée de 800 km sur le chemin de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, il y a juste deux ans (le temps passe vraiment vite). Au milieu de paysages époustouflants, de rencontres inoubliables et de douleurs insupportables aux pieds, je suis tombé sur le mot 'Ultreia'. Prononcé "Ul-tray-ya", c'est un terme historique que les pèlerins utilisaient depuis plus de mille ans pour s'encourager mutuellement à aller de l'avant. 'Ultreia' était plus qu'un mot ; c'était un cri de ralliement qui inspirait les voyageurs à dépasser leurs limites perçues, à aller au-delà de l'ordinaire. Ce mot a résonné si profondément en moi que j'ai décidé de l'utiliser si jamais je créais ma propre entreprise. Quelques mois plus tard, l'opportunité de démarrer ma propre affaire s'est concrétisée, et Ultreia Technologies est née — un nom qui non seulement capturait l'essence de ce que j'imaginais pour mon entreprise mais correspondait aussi parfaitement à notre modèle de services de recrutement IT de haute qualité, tant à distance qu'en local. Peru and it's people are incredible. I just came back from another amazing 3 weeks trip there to spend time with our employees, improve our banking capabilities, and plan for the future.
