This facility was primarily structured to consolidate the client's existing debt facilities, lower monthly payments and generate working capital by unlocking the equity in their asset fleet. Having recently spun off and formed into a standalone entity via a management buyout, the company had limited standalone financial history which ultimately restricted its lending options. As such, Travelers' asset-based financing solution served as a critical alternative way for the company to access the capital it required while it transitions to traditional bank financing in the future.
