"The buffalo provided everything for us. They taught us how to live in relationship with each other, the land, and our more than human relations. They showed us that our food systems, our economic systems, and the land can all develop in balance. Like the buffalo provided all, tourism provides us with opportunity to again live in right relationship." - Juanita Marois, CEO, Métis Crossing Last month we released our short film, Embrace the Buffalo. A film that celebrates the sharing of cultures and stories between Indigenous Peoples and travellers from around the world and reinforces the value of Indigenous-led tourism. We are officially two weeks out from the launch of our new ATIS platform 🎉 Going live on October 17, 2024, this updated and simple-to-use system will make it easier for Alberta's tourism businesses to connect with millions of travellers to promote their diverse offerings. So what happens next? Existing ATIS users will receive an email to claim their businesses and listings on the new platform (there will be step-by-step instructions on how to do this). This ensures all information is up-to-date after it was migrated from the original platform. Beginning October 17, businesses and users new to the platform can create accounts and start promoting their tourism businesses for free! Have any questions?
