I’m a bit of a perfectionist… that’s why it took me weeks to finally post our Community Report. When I joined The Creative Solution (TCS), I stepped into a position that challenged my ability to work on the fly. So much was happening at once - the team was growing, projects like #stupaid were starting and being put on hold, and all of a sudden I became Nathaniel Tham’s boss? I wanted to make sure that I was putting out work that best represented the heart and hard work of our crew. While I loved getting caught up in the details, I realized that what was going to help me truly #create was by moving forward - one repost, one reel, and one report at a time. Who put me in charge of managing a company’s money? From day one, The Creative Solution (TCS) threw me into a role that confused and challenged me. This semester, I automated TCS’s #accounting, secured crucial #grants for our clients, and prepped a comprehensive #financial summary. Sure, I made plenty of mistakes—overlooked functionality, overpaid taxes, and stuck too rigidly to processes. But every mistake was a lesson learned. In line with our mission to help the ambitious become legit, I’m embracing #transparency.
