The Conference Producer will be responsible for developing intellectual content, conceptualizing, planning, and executing conferences from inception to completion. They will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, where you’ll be able to learn a lot and make a major contribution. As we approach the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th, the Canadian Institute would like to acknowledge the ongoing contributions by First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people in shaping Canada as a diverse and inclusive nation. On this day, we honor the survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities. Through our conferences, the Canadian Institute has contributed to encouraging meaningful conversations and fostering dialogue between Indigenous leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders. Our conferences provide an important platform for discussing key issues like reconciliation, governance, economic development, and cultural preservation, while amplifying the voices of Indigenous peoples in Canada.
