🎉 Congratulations to Savan Prak on his 20-year anniversary with Scott Builders! Savan joined us back in 2004 as an apprentice and quickly proved himself as a dedicated and skilled professional. After completing his carpenter certification in 2009, he continued to grow, becoming a Foreman in 2011 and a Site Superintendent in May 2013. Savan has been a tremendous asset to our Edmonton team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to every project. Spanning 33,179 sq. ft. on a 4-acre site, this facility was delivered under a Design-Build contract and completed on time and within budget. The building's structure is a unique combination of a Butler Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) and conventional steel, ensuring both durability and flexibility. The Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre at Red Deer College is a 200,000 sq. ft. LEED® Gold-certified recreation facility that celebrates health, wellness, and sport in Red Deer, Alberta. Delivered in joint venture with Clark Builders, this project highlights our commitment to quality construction and sustainable design. The facility boasts an NHL-sized arena that converts to Olympic-size, a spectator gymnasium, a modern fitness center, squash courts, and a comprehensive Kinesiology Department. The project also involved significant site work, including the excavation of an 8.41m deep storm pond, ensuring the site’s long-term functionality. The Gary W. The 12,000 sq. ft. office addition for the County of Forty Mile No. 8 is a project that exemplifies our expertise in delivering high-quality, innovative construction solutions. Designed by FWBA Architects, the administration building for the local county council features a distinctive circular council chamber, a design element that helps alleviate wind loading on the structure. Additionally, the building incorporates a comprehensive exterior rainscreen building envelope, utilizing a blend of untreated cedar, metal cladding, and brick, combining durability with contemporary aesthetics.
