Celebrating HOPE this Tuesday as I reflect on the incredible impact @artistsforpeace has made. They remind me WHY we pour our souls into this work at @artistsforpeace. In many parts of the world, access to education is a precious gift that can change the course of lives. It’s the beacon of HOPE that breaks the cycle of poverty, empowers dreams, and builds stronger, more resilient communities. EDUCATION OPENS DOORS to endless possibilities, fosters critical thinking, and nurtures a sense of self-worth. @artistsforpeace introduced the first free high school in #Haiti when there was no free education beyond Junior High. Since 2010, we’ve raised over $33 million and helped 31,000 children receive an education, with 3,500 new enrollments each year. Today, I look to the future because there is much work to do as we anticipate the annual #APJ Gala on September 8th.
