The REDBLACKS Summer Rush event at the Infinity Convention Centre last night was the perfect way to end the summer. Four hundred guests gathered for networking and to raise money for the REDBLACKS Back to School Initiative. The OSEG Foundation created the initiative to ensure that no student in our community goes to school with an empty backpack. 👏 Speed networking was facilitated by networking guru, Michael J. Hughes, supported by past Forty Under 40 recipients! A wonderful evening to meet emerging business leaders like Sophia Ku of MondouxRollins Partners Inc. Based on the trends we've uncovered, here are our top three takeaways:   1️⃣ Be Competitive and Realistic Experienced private company CFOs command an average base salary of $295,000, and, at this rate, average at 27 years of experience. To stay competitive, design realistic compensation packages that reflect current market trends.   2️⃣ Include Performance-Based Rewards All CFO candidates receive a short-term incentive averaging 33% of their base salary. Almost half have some form of long-term incentive.
