Our rock-solid MNP team in Timmins gave curling a try at their local curling club. The event kicked off with short lessons to outline the curling foundations and then slid into scrimmage games, which facilitated an engaging networking experience. With a focus on inclusivity, there was a way for everyone to participate in whatever capacity best suited them. Whether it was spectating, “stick curling”, or getting into slides to play, smiles were seen, and laughs were heard. “I’ve always jumped at the opportunity to talk about curling to anyone willing to listen, so I really enjoyed the chance to share that passion with my colleagues. Some curl regularly, others had tried a few times, and many were trying it for the first time. For a second year, it was great to get out of the office for an afternoon to take a break and the scrimmage games provided a good opportunity to get to know other team members.” – Abby (she/her), Senior Accountant “I had a fantastic time! It was fun to have everyone interacting outside of a typical work environment. It is always an adventure when trying a new activity!” – Cynthia (she/her), Administrative Assistant Find your life at MNP by visiting http://bit.ly/3qRZc0z #LifeAtMNP

Amber (she/her), a Designated Professional based in Manitoba, recently took part in MNP’s Praxity Secondment Program in New Zealand. The program offers MNPers the opportunity to develop new skills, gain diverse experiences, build relationships, and network with international leaders in the accounting and consulting industry. “I was given the opportunity to go on secondment to Auckland, New Zealand for two months, plus an additional month for further leisure travel. It was such a neat experience to work in a new country and learn about new industries! I made great friends including another secondee from Melbourne, Australia. We spent a lot of time exploring New Zealand together – top picks are the Bay of Islands, Waitomo Glowworm Caves, Milford Sound, and the Waitakere Ranges! Can’t wait to go back and explore more!” Find your life at MNP by visiting http://bit.ly/3qRZc0z #LifeAtMNP Amber Litke
