Leduc Transit Celebrates One Million Riders! 🚍 Since our humble beginnings in 2010 with the C-Line, Leduc Transit has grown into a vital transportation network serving Leduc, Nisku, YEG, and Edmonton. Now, we're thrilled to mark a major milestone on Sept. 13, 2024—one million riders. This joint partnership between us and the City of Leduc and has come a long way: · 2014: Leduc Transit officially launched with one commuter route, four local routes, and 112 bus stops. · 2019: Exceeded 100,000 trips. · 2021: Transitioned to an on-demand service model to better serve local riders. · 2022: Ridership surged by 252%, thanks to our innovative Pick-Up app. · 2023: Introduced subsidized transit options. · 2024: Expanded on-demand services. To celebrate this milestone, everyone who hops on board Sept. 13, 2024, gets to ride with us for free. Thank you to our riders for making this possible—we look forward to serving you for many more trips to come.

Leduc County was proud to take part in the unveiling of Canadian North Airlines’ state-of-the-art full Full-Flight Simulator and 30,000 sq. ft. training facility at Edmonton International Airport (YEG) on July 17. The new facility will be used by pilots and will meet the demand for increased training. Congratulations, Canadian North, and thank you for expanding your operation in Leduc County!
