What’s Ahead in 2025: Building Healthier Communities 🌟 Ledcor’s construction teams across Canada are currently building a number of healthcare projects that will bring significant benefits to their communities by improving access to quality care in modern, sustainable facilities: BC Children's Hospital centre for health complexity in Vancouver will be the first facility of its kind in Canada and feature three storeys of care and support spaces for children, youth and their families, along with extensive green areas. La Ronge Long Term Care Centre in Saskatchewan will provide 80 long-term beds, gathering areas, and therapy rooms, while emphasizing sustainability and local engagement. Carlingview Manor in Orleans, Ontario is a five-storey long-term senior’s care/assisted living facility that will provide 320 beds and amenities in 10 resident home areas. Ledcor Technical Services has a talented team engineering and building fiber optic networks in West Virginia. Last year, our team achieved an impressive milestone by placing 4 million feet of fiber for a large national client. In 2025, we aim to more than double this achievement, further expanding high-speed internet access for communities across the state. We’re also excited about a new contract in the region. We will be building a fiber optic network to reach another 120,000 homes with a mix of aerial and underground construction over a multi-year period. The work completed in this region will significantly enhance connectivity among communities and pave the way for continued growth in neighboring states. As part of our 75th Anniversary commitment to children’s charities across Canada and the US, we proudly donated $240,000 to charities in Alberta last year that focus on pediatric and healthcare initiatives, including the Stollery Children’s Hospital, Northern Lights Regional Hospital, and Alberta Children’s Hospital. These funds will bring hope to families across Alberta who depend on these vital services. #LedcorCares

New milestone! Ledcor has reached substantial completion of the in-corridor work for Metrolinx GO Expansion’s Lakeshore East Corridor - Package C, paving the way for faster, greener, and more reliable transit options for future commuters. The project team successfully widened approximately 5 km of railway corridor to allow for a future track and in doing so expanded the Woodbine Avenue Bridge, installed a 76 m, 2 m diameter culvert at Small’s Creek, completed nine retaining walls, and placed 5 km of signal raceway. This milestone marks significant progress toward enabling increased service to the Greater Golden Horseshoe and future plans for electrified GO trains along the corridor. Meanwhile, the boardwalk at Small’s Creek is taking shape, and the ravine’s unique ecosystem is being restored by planting new trees, shrubs, and native plants. #LakeshoreEast #GOExpansion #LedcorBuilds

Today, we pay tribute to the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. A leader of the American civil rights movement, Dr. King advocated for nonviolence to end segregation. From his birth in 1929 until his assassination in 1968, he dedicated his life to achieving equality for people of all colors, championing the fundamental principle of respect for human dignity. His significant role in the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which outlawed various forms of discrimination, underscored his commitment to social justice, and he became the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize that same year. #MLKDay2025
