HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan), one of ICPM’s Research Partners, recently released their 2024 Canadian Retirement Survey which polled 2,000 Canadians on their attitude, behaviour and preparedness when it comes to retirement savings. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/dEMkBiPw It finds: - One in four (26%) Canadians expect to keep working in retirement in order to support themselves. - One in five (22%) Canadians have no savings at all (including retirement savings). - Nearly half (49%) of Canadian women have less than $5,000 in savings, compared to one in three men (33%). - The vast majority of Canadians (88%) believe all workers should have access to an affordable retirement savings arrangement; 86% agree it is in everyone’s interest for more people to have better retirement savings. #retirement #pensions #canada #savings
