Meet Cassie Byrne, an Account Manager at Insight Global who went above and beyond for her candidate in need. Cassie found the perfect candidate for a role she was working to fill for a client. But when Cassie learned that she was going through a really tough time personally—losing her home, her car, and having her daughter hospitalized—she knew she had to step in to help. Cassie's candidate was scheduled for an interview, but with her daughter in the hospital on the same day, finding a replacement wasn’t the answer. Instead, Cassie reached out to the hiring manager and successfully rescheduled the interview to give her a fair chance. On the day of the rescheduled interview, Cassie drove to the shelter where her candidate was staying and picked her up personally to drive her when her Uber was running late. Despite all the challenges, she excelled in the interview and was offered the job on the spot due to her outstanding qualities. But Cassie’s support didn’t stop there. She also launched a GoFundMe to help her (now consultant!) secure stable housing in an extended stay while she saved up to find a permanent solution. Cassie’s extraordinary compassion not only helped her candidate get the job but also provided her with a fresh start.
