We thought our adorable packaging was perfect… until it hit grocery stores. As a new brand, we didn’t know what we didn’t know. Turns out, even though customers thought our packaging was cute and loved our branding, our packaging design wasn’t quite working hard enough in grocery stores! Here’s how we updated it ✨ 💡 Shrunk the brand name (because who cares if you can see “Happy Wolf” from across the store if you don’t know what “Happy Wolf” is!) 💡 Made the product description larger and more universally understandable and the flavor more prominent 💡 Took new product photos to highlight our ingredients. You can see those freeze-dried strawberries way better now! 💡 Made “real ingredients” and “nut-free” much bigger—because that’s why people are buying 💡 Added a ribbon at the top to clarify that we’re refrigerated but can last 3 days on the go. We learned that confusion about this point was literally turning customers away! Some of this feels so obvious now, but we had to spend time with customers in stores to realize what wasn’t working hard enough. Hindsight really is 20/20!
