An interactive tour to showcase Manitoba's interactive digital media industry. Thank you Minister Jamie Moses for joining us in visiting some of the exciting companies in Winnipeg's Exchange District. We were happy to host you, Assistant Deputy Minister Jana Schott, and Special Assistant Carly Savoie. At New Media Manitoba, we demonstrated the LED volume wall at StudioLab xR, NMM's extended reality training centre. Exploring virtual environments, Louie Ghiz and Jonathan Phú Son Lê shared the opportunities in various sectors, including video production, architecture, and medicine. At Gryd, Josh Glow, Kyla Wills-Lollback, and Justin Gagnon, showcased the opportunity for visualization in real estate and leveraging these relationships to activate under-utilized parking spots. They shared the importance of the US market and access to supports. At Taiv, we got to see behind the scenes in creating the tech that empowers restaurant owners to replace advertisements with revenue-generating, entertaining, or self-promotion content. Jordan Davis and Avi Stoller shared about the ecosystem for startups and how programs can be improved. At Ubisoft Winnipeg, we toured through their multi-functional office, with Ashley Smith, Julien Lavoie, and Jodie Layne introducing us to some key staff. We got to see Ubisoft's new Star Wars game and discuss opportunities for growth and building community.
