To Frankie, our weird = our genius. And as part of Frankie’s purpose, he helps people by unlocking their genius. Frankie Russo is this week’s GBLOC featured member. Purpose is our focus this week. Frankie Russo, this week’s featured GBLOC member, says his purpose is to help people, whether they’re his children, customers, employees, or those he sponsors to help with their addictions. Purpose is what also leads Frankie’s 9-5. As an author and keynote speaker, he helps organizations and people unlock what holds them back. Growing up, Frankie’s parents ran shelters. Helping people was ingrained in Frankie at an early age. Today, his purpose is the through-line between his day job and his after-work life. Helping people makes him feel fulfilled and gives him meaning. To note: In a global study of over 15,000 people conducted by HP in 2023, only 28% of people say their work gives them a sense of purpose, and only 28% report that the work they do is meaningful. As we continue to think about what gives us purpose and meaning, we’d like to ask you, GBLOC: What’s your purpose in the world, and what experiences in your life shaped that?

Today’s Member Spotlight features GBLOC group member, Frankie Russo! Frankie is an 8X Inc. 500 founder and 2X best-selling author. He spends his day as a keynote speaker and is currently working on his third book. In his after-work hours, he’s a husband, a father of six, and finds meaning in supporting people in addiction and alcoholism.
