A foundation of care and support for those with complex behavioural designations.

About us

Entrust Disability Services is an Edmonton-based social care agency. Since 1997, Entrust has provided personalized care to individuals with developmental disabilities and complex behavioural issues through long-term supportive living spaces. Entrust was created through the combined effort of caregivers and families who wanted to provide a stable home environment for individuals with disabilities. Entrust was founded on the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live full and independent lives. We provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities while ensuring their ability to maintain family and community participation. ‘Finding meaning and belonging, not loneliness and isolation’ We honour the rights of those in our care. We foster an environment that is safe, comfortable, and stable, while encouraging clients to thrive and achieve their goals. We work to provide loving, compassionate, and effective care to youth and adults with developmental and physical disabilities.

What is IPP? 🔍 An IPP (Individual Program Plan) is a planning document that addresses your child’s specific education needs. This ensures that appropriate planning and set strategies are in place to support your child’s growth and learning. 📁 IPP is guided by Alberta’s provincial policies and regulations to ensure that the plans are tailored to meet the unique needs of your child. 🤝 It is a collaboration between educators, parents, admins and other related professionals. 🧡 At Entrust, we empower and support parents with the knowledge and skills to advocate for their children effectively. Are you ready to take on a unique opportunity at one of North America’s aspiring tech-savvy, forward-thinking social agencies? At Entrust Disability Services, we are redefining social services by integrating innovative technology with compassionate care. We are looking for a #PeopleandCulture Manager to lead some of the most forward-thinking #HR initiatives in #Alberta and make a significant impact in people’s lives inside and outside of Entrust. Why Entrust? This is not your typical "HR" role. At Entrust, People & Culture has a seat at the executive table and is at the core of our #strategic initiatives. You'll be part of a growing team of over 1,000 Entrusters across Alberta, redefining what it means to deliver exceptional service through optimizing #technology. Why this role is for you? • You thrive at the intersection of tech and people, eager to leverage #HRIS (UKG) to drive data-informed decisions, quantify the ROI of people initiatives, and create impactful #dashboards. • You have demonstrated collective bargaining experience, fostering win-win solutions in a #unionized environment. • You love the idea of working in a #hybrid environment where results—not hours—matter, and trust is the foundation of everything we do. What’s in it for you? • Lead a dynamic team of 5-6 Business Partners and inspire a 13-person People & Culture team to reach their full potential. • All-inclusive learning adventure: How does an all-expenses-paid trip to Las Vegas sound? You’ll have the exciting opportunity to join 6 fellow Entrusters at the #UKG Annual Conference, #Aspire, Nov 10 - 15, where you’ll dive deep into the latest HRIS advancements. With accommodation, flights, & fun activities covered by Entrust, this isn’t just a chance to learn—it’s an unforgettable experience that maximizes both personal & professional growth. • Work alongside a supportive, award-winning #leadership team that is passionate about nurturing talent & respecting work-life boundaries. • Collaborate with industry experts: you will work closely with our highly knowledgeable #BusinessIntelligence Team, playing a pivotal role in customizing our HRIS (UKG) and integrating it with key tools like #Salesforce and #Spekit. • A competitive #totalrewards package of $97k–$125k, comprehensive #benefits, a flexible hybrid work setup, custom-tailored training, #careergrowth opportunities, and a vibrant #culture of continuous learning. If you’re ready to reshape the future of social services and be part of a high-performing, tech-savvy organization, apply today. Closing date is Oct 22, 2024. Let’s make an impact—together.

HR Executive | Strategic Growth | People Management Strategy | Culture & Talent Champion

Last Friday, we held our first in-person People & Culture team lunch and learn. It was great meeting some of my team members face-to-face for the first time! Our Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and Learning & Development specialists delivered an excellent and clear breakdown of our current processes, challenges, and key areas to optimize for elevating every people and culture role. When I joined Entrust, I wasn’t sure how to drive results from 13-member team, working mostly remote with some in different cities and offshore, supporting 1,000 Entrusters. I quickly learned the importance of defining the People & Culture mandate, setting clear priorities, deliverables, and timelines and being intentional with in-person collaboration. Hosting monthly P&C meetups fosters trust-based relationships by allowing my team to showcase their expertise and align their aspirations with ongoing projects. #PeopleAndCulture #HybridWork #IntentionalLeadership #Collaboration #BuildingTrust #DrivingResults
